The miraculous medicine of all diseases

Just for today, do not anger

Do not worry and be filled with gratitude

Devote yourself to your work. Be kind to people.

Every morning and evening, join your hands in prayer.

Pray these words to your heart

and chant these words with your mouth

Usui Reiki Treatment for the improvement of body and mind”

The founder, Usui Mikao.

Reiki was initiated by Dr. Usui, a Japanese Christian minister head of a Christian boys school in Japan. The word Reiki consists of two Japanese words. “Rei”, which means “ghost, spirit, Soul; divine; ethereal body; spirituality”, and “ki”, which means “gas, air; breath; energy; force; atmosphere; mood; intention; emotion; attention”. Reiki as used today means ‘Divine or Spiritually Guided Life Force Energy’.

The Reiki practitioner channels Universal Life Force Energy, Divine White Light, through their hands to the client. Much like healing with laying of hands, and similar to the Shamanic Illumination, the practitioner focuses the intention and energy on the ailing body parts and infuses them with healing Divine Light.

Reiki symbols are used for healing, for protection and for attuning initiates into the Reiki Linage. They help channel various healing frequencies. Using different symbols boosts the Reiki energy. Symbols can be activated by saying their name three times, by drawing them with your finger or by visualizing them. You can draw or visualize them either on your palm center or on the areas to be treated. Whatever method you use, it is the intent that counts.
